Policies and Procedures:
School library hours are Monday - Friday 8:20am -- 3:20 pm. Students are welcome before and after school, as well as throughout the day, depending upon class scheduling. Students are required to have a pass from their teacher if they visit the library during class hours.
Computers are for academic use only.
A printer is available (black and white copies only) for .10 cents a page.
The library also has a copy machine that prints black and white copies for .10 cents per page.
e-Readers are permitted and encouraged. Students must comply with our digital device policy.
We are in the process of establishing an active digital component to our lending library and will be developing it throughout the year.
e-books are limited to 2 e-book check outs per person at a time. e-books will automatically be returned in 3 weeks, however, due to the limited number of e-books available everyone is encouraged to return their e-book as soon as they have finished reading it.
ID cards are required to check out books and for other school functions. ID cards are not required to renew, return books, or pay fines. Student pictures are taken in the fall and each student is issued a free ID card. If the initial free ID card is lost, a replacement ID card may be purchased for $5.00 in the library.
Students may check out up to 3 books at a time for 3 weeks. Books may be renewed for an additional 3 weeks. Late books are charged a .05 cents per day late fee, with a maximum fine of $5.00. If lost or damaged, the cost of the book will determine the fine.
